Creative Process

Crossing of the Red Sea was developed as a cinematic visual narrative, using AI generation to reinterpret the scale, emotion and symbolism of the biblical event. The process focused on creating a coherent sequence rather than isolated images, with consistent characters, dramatic lighting and a monumental sense of environment.

Crossing of the Red Sea – AI Generated

The central film was planned around a progression from human-scale emotion to an overwhelming environmental reveal. Iterative image generation refined costumes, faces, water forms and atmosphere; the strongest frames were then organised into a sequence with deliberate pacing and cinematic continuity.

The supporting images explore key moments from different distances: intimate character portraits, wide views of the divided sea and the movement of the crowd through the passage. Repeated refinement of composition, light and colour helped keep the visual world consistent across the series.
