Creative Process
The Toad Creature began as a character study built around an unusual silhouette and a balance between recognisable amphibian features and a stylised fantasy personality. The goal was to create a model that felt expressive from every angle and could work equally well in still images, animation and an interactive 3D presentation.
3D Modelling and Animation
The creature was modelled in Cinema 4D, with close attention to proportion, anatomy and the large forms that define its character. Smaller surface details were added only after the silhouette and pose were working clearly. The animation stage focused on giving the model weight and personality, using controlled movement to make the creature feel present rather than simply displaying the geometry.
Interactive Presentation and Final Details
The interactive viewer was prepared to let the model be examined beyond a fixed camera angle. This stage required checking the silhouette, materials and surface treatment from every side. The final images then highlight the strongest details and complete the presentation as a compact character-design case study.
