Creative Process

The Dystopian Android was conceived as a cinematic character from a damaged technological future. Its design combines a human-readable silhouette with mechanical construction and worn industrial detail, creating an android that feels functional, vulnerable and shaped by the environment it inhabits.

3D Modelling and Animation

The character was developed in Cinema 4D by first defining the major body proportions and mechanical volumes. Panels, joints and smaller details were introduced progressively so that complexity supported the silhouette instead of obscuring it. Movement tests were then used to evaluate the articulation, balance and screen presence of the completed model.

Interactive Presentation and Final Frames

Preparing the interactive viewer made it possible to inspect the android from every angle and identify areas that needed further refinement. The final presentation combines the turntable-style experience with selected images that emphasise construction, surface detail and the dystopian mood of the character.
